Heidelberg

Today I visited Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe. Heidelberg is a German deli/bakery. I got a huge chocolate/chocolate cupcake. the cake was rich and thick with a chocolate filling but, the icing was dry. But I did like Heidelberg Pastry Shoppe.

Lavender Moon

Today I visited Lavender Moon. It was a beautifully decorated cupcakery. I got a Triple Chocolate cupcake. It had thick, fluffy cake and rich, creamy icing. It was messy, but delicious. Lavender Moon is by far my favorite cupcakery.

Buzz

Today I reviewed Buzz.It was a cafe/bakery. I ordered a 9:30 It was chocolate with a thin buttercream filling and ganche icing. The icing was thick and rich, but a tad bit bitter. The cake was chocolatey and moist. Buzz rates among my favorites.

Georgetown Cupcakes/ Baked&Wired

Today I went to Georgetown to visit Georgetown Cupcakes and Baked&Wired.
Georgetown Cupcakes had a large variety of cupcakes and I got a vanilla and chocolate cupcake. The cake was dry, but the icing was good and rich. The cupcake was small and there was a minimal amount of icing. Despite its fame I wasn't a big fan of Georgetown Cupcakes.

Baked&Wired was a cupcake cafe. It was a large bakery with a fun apparel. I got a chocolate/chocolate cupcake. The cake was rich and moist but, the frosting was really thick and tasted off.The cupcakes were overall good.

Best Buns Bread Co.

Today I visited Best Buns Bread Co. in Arlington, VA. The service was supremely friendly and cared for their customers.I got a chocolate cupcake with chocolate ganache icing.The cupcake was dry but the icing was rich and creamy. I give Best Buns two thumbs up!
